Deformation Survey

Deformation survey is a process where precise measurements are taken of fixed monitoring points placed on a structure. An initial set of baseline measurements are taken from a benchmark location, and then taken again at some later dates, from the same locations. Our ultra-precise equipment will detect any differences in the fixed monitoring points which then are recorded for a comparative report. JAB consult can also provide photographic documentation of interior and exterior structural conditions for initial and subsequent measurement changes.

Laser Scanning

The laser technology can scan any interior or exterior man-made or natural structure or area within its field of view and create a complete raw data set in the form of a 3D image made up of millions of points of data, called a “3D point cloud”. Every two points of the 3D point cloud provide direct point to point measurements within AutoCAD. Complete surface geometry is safely and accurately captured with the High Definition 3D laser scanning. True 3D data captured by our Land Surveyors saves time & money for our clients.

Volume Survey

Computation of volumes for stockpiles to detailed material quantities for large multi lane freeways.   The data used to compute the volumes can be surveyed using different equipment. JAB consult carries on volume surveys using total station, GPS (RTK) GNSS and laser scanning technology, depending on level of details (LOD) required by our clients.
